Settings & themes
The Settings pages, the 28 built-in themes and how to make your own.
Open Settings from the title bar or with Alt4. The search field at the top finds a setting by name, and the list on the right switches between the pages. Changes apply immediately and are saved for you.
Interface
The page also holds the background's blur and strength, panel and window rounding, window opacity, the confirmations Lynx asks for, and where notifications appear, for how long and with which sound.
Editor
Your tabs, including unsaved ones, are reopened the next time you start Lynx. There is no setting for it.
Client
Open Workspace, Open AutoExec, Clear Logs and Clear Crash Reports are at the bottom of the page.
Project, Keybinds and AI
- Project holds the open project's entry file, build output and bundler, and the defaults for new projects.
- Keybinds lists every app shortcut with two slots each. See Keyboard shortcuts.
- AI turns AI access on and sets it up in the AI apps on your PC. A preset (Read-only, Standard or Full) decides what they may do: each kind of action is allowed, asks you first, or is off.
Themes
Lynx ships with 28 built-in themes. Pick one in Settings → Themes.
Follow Windows switches between a dark and a light theme of your choice when Windows changes its mode.
Custom themes
New Theme opens the theme editor: colors for every surface and for syntax, plus your own CSS. Create Variant starts from a theme you already have. Custom themes can be sorted into folders and starred as favorites.
Themes are shared as base64 share strings. Copy Share Code puts a theme's share string on your clipboard, and Import Theme takes one that someone sent you.
Resetting
There is no single reset for everything. Reset All Keybinds on the Keybinds page and Reset AI settings on the AI page restore those two. Your scripts, workspace and themes aren't touched.
