Auto-execute
Run scripts automatically every time Lynx attaches.
Anything in the AutoExec folder runs the moment Lynx attaches to a Roblox client. Use it for things you always want loaded: a UI library, keybinds, your own helper functions.
Adding a script
- Find
AutoExecunder Files in the editor's sidebar. Settings → Client → Open AutoExec opens the folder itself. - Right-click it and choose New Script, or drop a
.lua,.luauor.txtfile into the folder. - Start Roblox. The script runs on its own.
The sidebar picks up new files immediately. There's no need to restart.
Order and timing
Lynx runs every script in the folder. Don't rely on the order they run in: if one script needs another, keep them in one file.
Auto-execute runs as soon as Lynx attaches, which can be before the game has finished loading. Guard anything that touches the game:
Disabling a script
Right-click a script in AutoExec and untick Auto Execute to skip it without deleting it. It stays in the list with an off badge. To skip all of them, turn off Settings → Client → Auto Execute.
Teleports
When you teleport to another place, Roblox builds a fresh game and your scripts stop. Auto-execute scripts run again in the new place.
For one-off code that should only survive the next teleport, use queue_on_teleport:
