Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the team behind Lynx (“we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your use of the Lynx software, license keys, website, dashboard and related services (together, “Lynx”).

By activating a license key, or by downloading, installing or using Lynx, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lynx.

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Your license

Subject to these Terms and a valid license key, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to install and use Lynx on one Windows device, identified by its hardware ID (“HWID”), for as long as your license remains in effect.

Lynx is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights, title and interest in it, including all intellectual property rights. The scripts you write remain yours.

You may not:

  • sell, rent, lend, share, sublicense or otherwise transfer your license or key;
  • use one license on more than one device, or by more than one person;
  • copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works of Lynx itself, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • remove proprietary notices, or tamper with, disable or work around the licensing system;
  • use Lynx to build a competing product, or offer it as part of a paid service, without our written permission.

Accounts and license keys

Your license key comes from the reseller you bought it from. Once activated, Lynx does not ask for a new key each session: there are no checkpoints and no ad-gated key systems.

Keep your key confidential. Anyone who has it can act as you, and you are responsible for all activity under your key and your dashboard account. Give us accurate information and keep your email address current: it is how we reach you and how we verify requests about your license.

We may suspend or revoke keys that were bought fraudulently, published, shared or resold, or whose purchase was later reversed or charged back.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lynx to:

  • break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
  • harass, threaten, defraud or harm other people, or collect their personal data without permission;
  • create, distribute or run malware, or gain unauthorized access to any system, account or data;
  • probe, overload or disrupt our servers, our licensing system or other users;
  • impersonate us, or misrepresent your relationship with us.

You are solely responsible for the scripts you run and for their consequences. Scripts written by third parties are not reviewed or endorsed by us. Only run code you trust.

Third-party platforms

Lynx is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Roblox Corporation. “Roblox” is a trademark of Roblox Corporation and is used here only to describe compatibility.

Lynx works alongside software and services we do not control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are solely responsible for complying with them, including the Roblox Terms of Use and Community Standards.

Operators of third-party platforms may moderate, restrict, suspend or terminate your accounts, including for using tools like Lynx. We cannot influence or reverse those decisions and are not liable for them. Moderation by a third party is not grounds for a refund.

Purchases and refunds

Lynx license keys are sold only by third-party resellers. We do not sell keys, take payments, confirm orders or issue refunds, and we never see your payment details. Your purchase is an agreement between you and the reseller you buy from, under the reseller’s own terms.

Lynx is a single lifetime license. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The price on our pricing page, in $, is indicative. The price you pay, including any taxes, is set by the reseller.

Payments, refunds and any statutory right of withdrawal are handled by the reseller you bought from. Contact that reseller for any question about your payment. We do not refund keys, and once a key has been activated, it is not refundable by us.

If the purchase of a key is reversed, refunded or charged back, we may revoke the license it activated. If Lynx does not run on your PC, talk to us first. Most problems are solved in minutes.

HWID resets

Each license is bound to the hardware ID of the device where it is first activated. We store only a one-way hash of that identifier, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you replace hardware or move to a new PC, you can reset your HWID yourself from the dashboard. Self-service resets are included with your license, subject to fair use. Each reset asks you for a short reason. If a reset is refused, support can help case by case.

We review reset history, including the reasons you give and the approximate locations your license is used from, to detect key sharing. We may limit or refuse resets that suggest a key is being shared between people or devices.

Updates and availability

Lynx depends on the Roblox client, which changes often and without notice. After a Roblox update, Lynx may be unavailable until we release a compatible build. We release one when it is ready, but we do not guarantee any response time, uptime or availability.

Current compatibility is always shown on our status page, and every release is listed in the changelog.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. Updates are delivered through the Lynx UI, and some may be required to keep using Lynx.

Termination

You can stop using Lynx at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your license without refund if you breach these Terms, share or resell your key, abuse our services, file an unjustified chargeback, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

We may also suspend or terminate any account or license at any time, for any reason or without giving a reason, at our sole discretion.

When your license ends, your right to use Lynx ends with it and you must uninstall it. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive termination.

“Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the Lynx product, not of any person or device. If we ever discontinue Lynx, we will announce it in advance on our Discord where reasonably possible.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynx is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Lynx will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will be compatible with every system or every version of third-party software, that it will meet your requirements, or that your use of it will not lead to action against your accounts on third-party platforms.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, accounts, virtual items or in-game currency, arising out of or related to your use of Lynx or of any third-party service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Lynx is limited to the amount paid for your Lynx license.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. For material changes, we will give notice on our Discord or by email before they take effect.

If you keep using Lynx after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using Lynx.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live, including any right to bring proceedings there.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Lynx.
